EPN System Maintenance Service Program

Any Biach equipment (including fluid filter cart) which becomes contaminated and cannot be released from site will be quoted for purchase by site.

Service Program set up on annual basis with phases scheduled and coordinated with Biach Technical Field Service Department.

*Note: Completion of Phases I and II extends the EPN warranty one full year.

Phase I: Regular Service At 9 Month Intervals (Prior to Each Outage)

Purpose

This phase cycles the pump at regular intervals and storage inspection and serves as a  pre-outage preparation call

Allotted Time

1 Day For Service

Scope of Work
  1. Fluid sample of hydraulic fluid
  2. Inspect H20 gate vent filter (or install)
  3. Cycle the pump and inspect entire system for leakage
  4. Inspect electrical system
  5. Calibrate the system (with site I&C Dept.)
  6. Assure proper storage of console and pump assembly

Phase II: Overhaul Service After 2nd Outage Use

Purpose
Service inspection, maintenance and adjustments
Allotted Time

3 Days For Service

Scope of Work
  1. Change all filters
  2. Replace seals in low pressure pump and booster
  3. Drain reservoir and inspect interior condition
  4. Inspect and replace (as needed) all hydraulic connectors
  5. Flush all hydraulic hoses and manifold (as applicable)
  6. Flush and cycle reservoir fluid through special filter assembly
  7. Service motor
  8. Test operating pressure at all valves
  9. Cycle pump and run full pressure test for leaks
  10. Inspect console interior
  11. Replace all fuses
  12. Perform diagnostic inspection of electric system
  13. Inspect

Five Year and Ten Year Service Intervals for Replacement of Major Components.
