Biach Full Classroom Operator Training Package

Download a printer friendly spec sheet

Designed to suit the specific piece of equipment used by the site, this package goes into greater detail to give a true classroom training class to operators expecting to use the equipment. It is also highly valuable to previous students since they may not have operated the equipment since the last outage, which may be 9, 18 or 24 months ago.

General description and design
The training packages for each site consist of the following components:

All materials are designed to be complimentary. Consistency in the use of language images/illustrations facilitates comprehension and retention. The materials provide the equipment user the opportunity to learn all necessary detail and on-the-job reference material. The elements of each training package are designed for use in different training environments.

Biach can readily modify such packages following component upgrades such as hydraulic piston return, addition of limit switches or elongation monitoring systems, etc.

Depending on the equipment, Biach may use in-house photos, images or drawings, utilize site images or visit the site to take required photos.

Pricing is dependent upon model of equipment and whether the package covers tensioners and other accessory equipment like electric stud drive tools, SEMS, EPN, etc.

Includes one day instructor training either on site or through a web delivery instruction session.

Biach has developed operator & supervisor training packages for the following types of applications:

  • Tensioning Systems
  • Stud Drive Tools
  • Elongation Measurment Systems
  • Polar Cranes UGS (Upper Guide Structure)
  • Load Sensing Pins
  • Foreign Object Surveillance and Retrieval (FOSAR)

Computer Based Training

The computer based training module covers the same material as the classroom training. The student has the choice of going through the program according to the order the material is organized or going to specific segments for a refresher.

The testing features help the student know how well they comprehended the material. This can also be used as a basis for user qualification.
