Equipment Inspection and Maintenance
Biach personnel have been providing this service to many sites for almost 40 years and have taken on these tasks independently or in conjunction with site maintenance groups.
Full preparation is accomplished in checking utility inventory stock for replacement seals and identifying required tooling in advance of the service appointment. Special tooling, if required, is brought in anticipation so that the work can be performed efficiently without delays while also minimizing cost and use of plant resources
Inspect Your Tensioning Systems (RPV; Steam Generator; Dry Well, Etc.)
- Examine Sealing Surfaces
- Inspect Other Components such as Overstroke Systems, Gear Driven Nut Turning Feature, Hoses, Pumping Unit
- Examine Pull System Integrity
Perform Routine Maintenance Service:
- Change Hydraulic Seals- Both Static And Dynamic
- Replace Worn, Damaged Or Missing Fittings
- Re-seat Overstroke Valves
- Replace Check Valves And Seals On Pumping Units
- Adjust Drive Gear Bearing Assembly
Fully Test Entire System And Certify "Ready For Use"
- Provide Recommendations For Upgrading
- Review Procedures And Recommend Changes For Peak Performance
- Inspect And Service Your Other Biach Equipment - i.e. Stud Drive Tool
- Work With Site Machinists For Modifications To Incorporate Upgrades
Train Site Personnel (if desired)
- Operation Of System

- Storage Requirements
