Torus Assembly:
For the bolting up of the Torus supports, Chicago Bridge and Iron could not get accurate loading of anchor bolts using torque wrenches.

Gas Turbine:
Customer was having Problems balancing turbine rotors. During high speed testing, rotor bolts would shift outward due to centrifugal force.

Mixing Drum:
Large rotating drums for mixing chemicals have paddles fastened to the internal diameter. Paddles work loose due to vibration and fall off during operation. Conventional tensioners could not be applied over the paddle blades.

Deep Submergent Vessel Testing - Manway Cover Bolting:
Navy designed and built a vessel to withstand deep submergent pressures. There was no tool on the market that could tighten manway nuts.

Aerospace:
NASA required a means of providing critical loads on studs anchoring booster engines to launch pad.

Shearing Press for Steel Plates:
Clearance did not permit use of conventional tools and; severe shock and vibration from shearing operation would preclude use of conventional tools even if they did fit the application.

Tensile Testing:
Customer was seeking a simple, low cost, quick method of testing strength of adhesive bonded test specimens.

Surgical Reamer Assembly:
Customer was experiencing unacceptable scrap rates and cycle times during the  assembly of their proprietary surgical drill. The customer was also facing an expedited delivery date for their largest order to date.
